Clifton, NJ, May 16, 2007, - ECSI (Electronic Control Security, Inc. (OTC BB:EKCS) a global leader in security technology products and systems today announced receipt of a $1,000,000 release on a $3.5 million contract award for the new Iraqi Airport Program.
ECSI was selected for this project based on its application engineering and design capability to address entry control systems for passengers and employees at aviation facilities. This first release of $1.0 million consisting of metal detection equipment and support services for delivery in ninety days will be followed by a $2.5 million release for passenger baggage x-ray equipment and related support services.
Arthur Barchenko, President and CEO of ECSI said, "This is just the third of a series of contracts we expect to be awarded during the coming weeks which clearly demonstrates ECSI's strong position in the international security arena. During the past nine months, we were requested to submit a number of proposals to supply our core technologies for other commercial and industrial projects in the United States and overseas which are expected to close in the very near term."
